LabDeck Plotter Exercise 05
(Change Liner-Liner axis into Log- Linear Axis - Exponential e function)

Contains:

•  Change Liner-Liner axis into Log- Linear Axis, Exponential e function
•  Display Points - Nodes

Change Liner-Liner axis into Log- Linear Axis - Exponential e function

File => New => Function

Press New Formula - a new window will be opened

Press SYNTAX button - - from the new window notation examples, user can determine that the exponential function X should be written as _e**(x)

Type _e**(x) in text Box F(X)=

Type 1 in to text box - From:

Type 18 in to text box - To:

Type 100 in to Tex box - Number of Points:

Press OK button - Then the function graph will be exponential function:

Press Display button , a new window will be opened, Select AXIS Tab

Change X liner axis and Y linear axis into Logarithm axis by selecting Log-Log and in Vertical Axis Log Base - write e

Press OK - The function graph will be liner function with logarithmic axis

Press Display a new window will be opened, Select Numeration Tab and type e into Vertical Exponential Numeration Base text box

The graph will be

Scroll and to get next graph:

Press Red button to only display graph without buttons

The new graph will be without buttons:

Press Red button again to return to a normal graph with buttons

Display Points- Nodes

Press CHANNELS button to open a new window - Channel Settings

The new window will be shown:

Select Show Points

then Press OK

A new window will be opened and it is shown on the next page

Please carry out the exercises in order 1,2,3,4 as ordered in this document. Not following the correct order will result in confusion.
