LabDeck - Plotter Exercise

LabDeck Plotter Exercise 03
(Open Excel, Global Coordinates Units, Title)

Contains:

•  Open Excel - Classical X and Y coordinates
•  Open Excel - Y coordinates available only
•  Global Coordinate -Axis wit units
•  General Graph Title

Please carry out the exercises in order 1,2,3,4 as ordered in this document. Not following the correct order will result in confusion.

Open Excel - Classical X and Y coordinates

Press File => Open => Excel

A new window will be opened, named Excel Mode

Press Open Excel File

File PATH C/ Program Files/LabDeck/Plotter/Examples/Basic

Select Excel Example 01.xls

The Excel File - Excel Example 01.xls - will be opened

Sheet 4 will be:

To import X coordinates from Column B and Y coordinates from Column C

Return to Excel Mode window and Select Sheet4,

To import X coordinates from Column B to start from Cell 3 to 100

Fill X Value:

Start Row: 3

Stop Row: 100

Column: b

To import Y coordinates from Column C to start from Cell 3 to 100

Fill Y Value:

Start Row: 3

Stop Row: 100

Column: c

Press OK

To open Excel, where only Y coordinates are available, carry out the following:

Open Excel - Y coordinates available only

Press File => Open => Excel

A new window will be opened, named Excel Mode

Press Open Excel File

File PATH C/ Program Files/LabDeck/Plotter/Examples/Basic

Select Excel Example 01.xls

The Excel File - Excel Example 01.xls - will be opened

Return to Excel Mode window and Select Sheet4,

Select Step in X Value - Type 100 - to import 100 steps or index for X coordinates

Fill Y Value:

Start Row: 3

Stop Row: 103

Column: c

Press OK

Global Coordinate -Axis with units

Press Display

Select Axis Tab and in Units Select Global

Type Horizontal Axis Units: Sec

Type Vertical Axis Units: C

General Graph Title

Then Select Graph Title Tab and Type: Temperature Graph

The graph will be:
