Hermite Spline Interpolation
Function: - Hermite Spline Interpolation 4
This is a very interesting and unusual function which is similar to where increasing the X axis value will increase the oscillation density. This function contains two components,
- The first component
will generate rapid and continual function growth.
- The second component sin function will create oscillations.
The Hermit Spline interpolation produces very good results. The first graph has 100 fitted nodes and the second has 1000 nodes.

Graph 38. Function - Hermite Spline Interpolation (red curve) compared to the linear interpolation of same function (green curve). This graph shows that the Hermite is giving us much better results and we have used 100 nodes.

Graph 39. Zoomed Graph 38. Function - Interpolation Hermite Spline (red curve) compared to green curve - interpolation linear of the same function. In addition we have created Akima and Cubic Splines (black and blue curves) interpolated with 1000 fitted nodes. |
