Akima Spline Interpolation
Function: - Akima Spline Interpolation 4
This function is particularly interesting. It is similar to function where increasing x will increase the oscillation frequency. Decreasing the distance between the maximums and minimums the function will continually rise. With less nodes the Akima Spline will make a very good interpolation. Function component deliver permanent function growth. If we increase the number of fitted nodes by 5 or 10 this will not significantly improve the function (compared to Graph 25.). After X = 7 the interpolation will not closely follow the function but we can increase the number of fitted nodes to improve the situation.

Graph 25. Function: - Akima Spline Interpolation. There is a minimal difference between a small number of fitted nodes and a fitted interpolation with 10 times more nodes.
