RMS - Root Mean Square

RMS - Root Mean Square. Calculates the average value of the selected channel/curve. Calculated value will be added into the Info Block of the created channel. As an input parameter, you must enter the interval of X axis , from which the average value is calculated. Fields will be filled automatically with X axis coordinates of first and last interval points. The application supports calculations using a discrete formula ( sum based ) and calculations using a continuous formula (integral based, using Cubic Spline curve). Both variations give approximately the same value, but calculations using the Discrete Formula are much more effective.
